I've always had a bit of an intuitive sense that food doesn’t just magically pop up on supermarket shelves, but this film encouraged me to slow down and dig deeper into where our food actually comes from. It opened my eyes to the farms, the animals, and the soil involved in our meals, as well as the people and companies that determine what makes it to our tables. It's fascinating and a little unsettling, but it definitely inspired me to be more mindful about my food choices!
